Thank you for the brownies!

After the boys ate their dinner tonight, including all the spinach and tomatoes, Edward, my oldest (who is 4.5) asked if he and his brother Connor (who is 1.5) could each have a brownie (Edward and I made mini brownie bites for our small group at church on Sunday, so there were a couple left over). I said, that since they both ate everything, that, yes, they could. Connor was overjoyed!  After he gobbled up his brownie, I asked him:

Me: Connor, how did you like your brownie?

C: yummy!

Me: So what do you say to mommy?

I was hoping to hear something along the lines of “thank you for the brownie”, but that didn’t happen. 🙂

C: another brownie!

And after seeing my quizzical look, he quickly added:
