I try to plan my menues most of the weeks, but sometimes I don’t put it down on paper or electronic form. Most days I just look in my fridge and freezer and decide what I am going to make right from what I have on hand (I keep a pretty-well stocked pantry). Here is my first attempt at posting my week’s menu on this blog.
Monday: Lemon-herbed salmon with brown rice and green peas. Cantaloupe for dessert.
Tuesday: Stuffed green and red peppers (stuffed with rice, turkey burger, carrots and onions) in red sauce.
Wednesday: roasted chicken and baby spinach salad with eggs, bacon and avocado. Mango for dessert.
Thursday: Stewed cabbage (with carrots and onions in tomato sauce) and boiled potatoes with butter and chives.
Friday: Chicken, rice, and vegetable soup, fresh bread from the breadmaker.
Saturday: Dinner at a church event.
Sunday: Venison and vegetables stew in crockpot. Ice cream for dessert.
